October 5, 2026 — Foad Qaderi, a 35-year-old Kurdish nurse from Javanrud, has spent 15 days in arbitrary detention. Following a week of severe torture and interrogation at an undisclosed facility, he was transferred to Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah, where he is currently held in solitary confinement in critical physical condition with multiple fractured ribs and a broken nose. He remains systematically denied medical care, legal representation, family visits, and telephone contact.

An informed source told Kurdpa: "Foad Qaderi is being held in solitary confinement at Dizelabad Prison while bearing severe signs of physical torture, including several fractured ribs and a broken nose sustained during his initial week of interrogation. He is kept in judicial limbo, denied temporary bail, and deprived of any medical treatment or contact with his family and lawyer."

On Monday, September 21, 2026, Qaderi—who works as a nurse in Sanandaj—was arbitrarily arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents on the Ravansar–Kamyaran road without a judicial warrant. Following his detention, security forces raided his family home without a warrant, searching the premises and seizing his personal computer and belongings.

As of the publication of this report, the official grounds for his arrest remain unknown, and authorities have offered no explanation regarding his ongoing incommunicado detention.
