September 26, 2026 — One week after the arbitrary detention of Sardar Ramin, a 30-year-old Kurdish youth from Naghadeh and a former political prisoner, his fate and whereabouts remain completely unknown. He has been systematically deprived of all access to legal counsel, family visits, and telephone calls.

An informed source confirmed the details to Kurdpa, stating: "In late September 2026—likely on September 19—Sardar Ramin, a 30-year-old Kurdish citizen from Qarna village, Naghadeh County, was arrested by security forces in Naghadeh without a judicial warrant and transferred to an undisclosed location. Since his arrest, no information regarding his condition or detention facility has been made available, and he has been denied even a brief phone call with his family."

Sardar Ramin is married and originally from Qarna village in Naghadeh County, though he has resided in Oshnavieh in recent months.

Ramin has a prior history of arbitrary state detention. On September 1, 2021, he was arrested without a judicial warrant by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location. After 69 days of arbitrary detention, he was released on a bail of one billion tomans from the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center in Urmia.

As of the publication of this report, the official charges and reasons for his arrest remain unknown, and security authorities have provided no explanation regarding his case.
