August 19, 2026; On the dawn of Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the execution sentences of two prisoners named "Donya Mohammadi" and "Khodadad Mohammadi", from the city of Eyvan-e Gharb, were carried out in the Central Prison of Ilam.

According to an informed source, these two prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement in Ilam Prison over recent days for the execution of their sentences.

These two prisoners had been sentenced to death by the Criminal Court about two years ago in two separate cases on charges of "premeditated murder".

To date, the news of the execution of these two prisoners has not been announced by official authorities or domestic media inside Iran.
