August 18, 2026; In the continuation of the wave of arrests of Kurdish citizens, on Monday evening, "Shakhavan Khavari", a Kurdish youth from Marivan, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location, and to date no information is available regarding his fate.

According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa; on the evening of Monday, August 17, 2026, "Shakhavan Khavari", son of Rahim and a Kurdish youth from Marivan, was arrested by security forces of the Intelligence Office without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

Until the time of publication of this news, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest and possible charges against this Kurdish citizen, and security forces have offered no explanation in this regard. Furthermore, "Shakhavan Khavari" is deprived of the right to access a lawyer, family visits, and telephone calls.
